How can we help?
We read everything. We are a small independent publication, so please keep questions specific — "is the Vršič Pass likely to be open on 8 May" gets a far better answer than "what should I do in Slovenia".

Editorial is produced in London; research trips run twice a year, in late spring and early autumn.

Editorial policy
What we will and will not do
We answer route questions
Free, unsponsored, and based on ground research. If we do not know, we will say so and point you at the operator or park authority who does.
We publish corrections
Prices, opening seasons and bus timetables change. Tell us what is wrong and where you saw it; verified corrections appear within five working days.
We do not take payment for coverage
No paid placements, no affiliate redirects on accommodation, no hosted trips in exchange for a write-up. Pitches offering any of these will not be answered.
We do not book anything
We are a publication, not an agency. We cannot reserve huts, hire cars, rafting slots or restaurant tables on your behalf.
We cannot give safety clearance
We will happily discuss route grades and conditions, but the decision to go into the mountains on a given day is yours, taken with a current forecast.
We welcome photography
If you have shot something we should see, send a link rather than attachments. Credit and a fee are agreed in writing before anything is published.
